Verify ImpactZero's restake
When a validator says it restakes, can stakers prove it? Yes. Every distribution is an on-chain add-stake transaction, and the split follows one formula. This page records, for each cycle, what the formula predicts for every staker and whether the actual transaction matched.
Expected is always floor(staker balance × available / total), computed from the
same numbers on chain that the cycle itself read. Expand a cycle to see each staker's expected
versus actual credit, then reproduce the arithmetic yourself with the public chain data.

Each cycle runs two checks. First, every staker's expected credit is floor(staker balance × paid / sum of staker balances): their stake share of what the cycle paid out. From epoch 1,432 the balance is the elected one: the smaller of the record's stake at the start of the epoch and its stake when the cycle opens, so stake added mid-epoch counts from the next epoch. A green check means the actual add-stake credit matched it (within dust tolerance); a red cross means it missed, and the reason is shown next to the staker. Second, the carried balance: the bot pays about one minute after a reward lands, so a cycle boundary often sits between a reward and the payout that distributes it. The tracker carries the undistributed amount from cycle to cycle (rewards in, payouts out) and turns the cycle red if it ever goes negative (more paid than earned) or grows past one batch of rewards (rewards withheld). A skim that stays proportional cannot hide: the carry keeps growing until it trips. Amber "Skipped" means a slice too short to hold a reward whose payouts the carried balance cannot explain. A validator claiming to restake is a claim about on-chain behaviour, and you can verify it without trusting any dashboard. The formula is the whole of it:
expected = floor( stakerBalance × paid / sumOfStakerBalances ) carried = carriedBefore + rewards − paid (must stay between 0 and one batch)
- Read the staker records from the chain: each
stakerBalanceat the cycle's opening block (the validator's own deposit is not a staker). From epoch 1,432, take the smaller of that and the record's stake at the start of the epoch. - Pick a cycle:
paidis the sum of its add-stake transactions, rewardsthe coinbase it earned, and the tracker shows the carried balance after it. - Compute the expected share for any staker with the formula above.
- Compare it to the actual add-stake transaction sent to that staker's record, visible on any block explorer.
Every distribution is an ordinary add-stake transaction, so the receipt is public and reproducible. The tracker merely automates this comparison and records whether it matched.
